A chord string: 'ArrowRight', 'Mod+Z', 'Shift+ArrowUp', 'Alt+ArrowLeft'. Mod resolves to ⌘ on Apple platforms and Ctrl elsewhere — the resolver is the only place that branches on it. Parsed once, at registration, never per key event.
