Interface: DecorationContext

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:18

Properties

rows

rows: readonly FrameRow[]

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:31

The rows in that window, so a provider can shade a row instead of a date range.

span

span: TimeSpan

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:29

The visible time span, widened by overscan and then bounded by the content's own [0, contentWidth] (#436). The bound is not a narrowing a provider has to work around: a decoration placed outside the content paints past the timeline's own edge and widens the pane's native scrollWidth past the content sizer, the harm the content bound exists to stop. So the span a provider reads is exactly the span it is allowed to paint over.

Not the same number as Gantt.visibleSpan (issue #461): that one excludes overscan on purpose, because it answers what the reader has on screen, not what a plugin may paint into. This span is strictly wider under the default overscan — do not read the two as interchangeable.

tickIncrement

tickIncrement: number

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:40

How many tickUnits one tick column covers — 1 day reads as a day, 2 days does not.

tickUnit

tickUnit: TimeUnit

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:38

What one tick column stands for — 'day' with an increment of 1 means a reader can see individual days. A provider that only makes sense at some granularity tests these two and returns nothing at the others. Still time, not pixels (I12): the answer is a calendar step, so a shared axis (D9) resolves it the same way for every Gantt bound to it.

time

time: ZonedTime

Defined in: layout/decoration.ts:33

Zone-bound date math. The provider never touches Date or a magic constant.
