Function: dateFormatter()

dateFormatter(options): (value, ctx) => string

Defined in: time/format.ts:78

Builds a Formatter for one fixed set of Intl.DateTimeFormatOptions — a date, date only, with no option to tailor at the call. Build it once, outside a formatValue: the returned function is a stable reference, so the Intl.DateTimeFormat cache keyed on it (intlFormatter) hits every call. Copies and freezes options once, so a caller mutating the object afterward changes nothing. '' for a missing value; never throws.
